Atrus 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2008 (edited) My father is a hardcore conservative and many of his friends are as well so if anything the Pink crowd has support from the 18-30 demographic as well as some 35-45 ers but the old folk here in CA, at least Southern CA, are still very conservative in their political views. I highly doubt that the proposition will pass, however, those against gay marriage have been VERY vocal about it on TV ads and signs littering the area. I'd go as far as to say that it won't pass with a 65-70% no vote but with every day that passes that there isn't any publicity supporting a no vote you lose the votes of the easily swayed "dumb kid" population that does what anyone will tell them to. Again, i doubt it would pass but it raises concerns that a third of the population doesn't support it.
