Shadrende 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2008 They are actually very smart. They know oil wont last forever, and as soon as they run out they are SOL. They are building as many tourist attractions as they can so they have some kind of income after their oil is gone.

Shadrende 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2008 cos people actually will visit the middle of nowhere to visit a big building? Rich people will. They have an underwater hotel. If I had the money i'd so go there. Actually from the pricing it's pretty reasonable. For something like a honeymoon, it would be fantastic! Hykos 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2008 cos people actually will visit the middle of nowhere to visit a big building? A lot of people already go there. I'd kill to go to the UAE for a week, but hotels are $$$$ there. But the service in all of them is world class, so you pay for what you get. Sounds like a great vacation get-away for people in the business of exploitation.

Hvilelos 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2008 I so would live on the top floor of that building. I could base jump off my balcony!
Fatherpeteus 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2008 From 4600 feet, does it even count as base jumping? ^^ The new frontier of construction that is going in to building that sucker is fascinating! They blow the concrete up pipes from the ground, with some rediculously big pumps.
Beornwarrior 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2008 hmm I remember watching a History Channel thing about building it. Pretty retarded as I recall as one would expect.
