Hi-Def Lite-Brite

I have a sister, so of course we had a lite-brite groing up. Bandai made one for the 21st century with programable LED's and crap. It's pretty badass, for a lite-brite. Best part is though that they made a trippy video to promote it (45 sec. in til the end). It's like $100 in Japan.

The little notice at the end of the commercial informs the viewer (sadly) that the LuminoDot is not capable of producing the type of animation seen in the video.

 

Why the hell buy it then?

Get a camera, do some stop motion. That's all you need.

This would be really cool if you could program different lighting patterns into it or something like that.
