Hvilelos 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 http://store.apple.com/us/configure/MB166LL/A?mco=NzUyMzgw So you're suggesting he buy a less capable computer for more money? GENIUS!
honki 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 3100/2800? its cheaper. No blu-ray is hardly what I'd call a loss. Dunno about the sony, but I get ~5hours of play outta my macbook.
Sauceboss 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 Never ever ever never ever. Would I buy a laptop that is from mac, if nothing else for the simple fact that there's not enough games that run on it without having dual OS. He also said he's getting like 66% off of his laptop, and he's getting a blu-ray player which may not be a big deal NOW, but it will be later. Hvilelos 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 I dont think you configured the mac correctly, plus they dont offer the 500gb hd IIRC. Plus he got a huge discount on the vaio. booyah.

Hvilelos 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 TBH that sounds a lot nicer than getting lame Dell discounts T_T Do you supplement your drug dealing with Apple merchandise?

Ravenheart 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2008 Dude Shad, does 4GB of RAM actually get recognised by the system? My friend had an Alienware laptop with 4GB, and we couldn't get the system to read more then 2.5GB. Do you have to have like a 128-bit OS? Hvilelos 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2008 64-bit OS can address well over 4gb. 32-bit, not so much, 4gb is the cap, but other peripherals with memory eat into that, like video card etc. They patched Vista 32-bit to recognize and report 4gb, but it still can't utilize all of it. Ravenheart 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2008 That's weird, coz we tested it with 64-bit windows, but it still said 2.5GB =(
