This is mostly for Shad but anyone feel free to chime in.

 

Basically I captured some video but my screen resolution is 1920x1200 (24" widescreen ftw) and I need to be able to compress it by both size and pixel. I grabbed VirtualDub but it seems to have trouble handling it and apprently only certain codecs can handle a resolution that high. Any suggestions?

 

I'm "acquiring" Sony Vegas 8 Pro as I type this...I'm not sure how easy it will be to pick up and run with.
