gilgalad 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I want to talk about last night's episode. BTW - Sorry Letica, that was the reason I disappeared. The wife wanted to watch it. I didn't have any electricity last night (and still don't as of an hour ago when I stopped by the house to check) but the neighbors let me string a long extension cord across from their back deck so I could run my fridge. Once it got inside my house, of course, I also diverted some for the TV so we would have a reason to sit in the cool basement and have something to watch.... All three of us watched Top Chef. I'm just glad that Dale got kicked in the last episode. We were all hoping for the lesbian chick (forgot her name) to get kicked, and from the 91% of people that apparently voted for her to leave... apparently we're not alone in disliking her. Don't think she's going to win in the end though, and that's cool... we all like the other two much better. And Project Runway is LAME. So very very lame. It was awesome when, after she didn't go home, she got all snotty with Richard and Stephanie and said, "You guys could at least congratulate me" and in Richard's interview response he said, "Congratulations on getting the f****** bronze medal." So classic. Oh, and Antonia totally snubbed Gail (the woman from F&W Magazine) buy not shaking her hand. It all almost makes up for that &^#%@)#$^&$$ Lisa staying. I don't need my usualy dose of roid rage to be anymore pissed off than normal. But you have to admit....you knew that was coming. That show makes me want to adopt puppies just so I can throw them into a fire one by one. My fiancee watches Project Runway religiously though. And my roomate watches anything even trashier, like MTV's Real World (Real World of course, if your real world happens to be populated entirely of nothing but douchenozzles with the IQ of a brick taped to a Springsteen album and ugly, trampy hookers with gonnasyphaherpenaids). I'll take Project Runway over that MTV show full of human failure any day of the week. But Top Chef is much better.
