Coffee vs. Tea

So, my boss' secretary has me down to two cups of coffee a day or coffee only until 10:00am. I believe that this is because she likes torturing my office co-workers with my irritability without enough caffeine. Today, I asked if I could have a special dispensation because I got roughly 4.5 hours of sleep and i NEEDED it. She suggested tea.

Now my tea is ticking. I don't know how. I don't know why. But the damn thing is ticking. Right here on my desk. I thought someone had either left a stopwatch under my keyboard or that someone was playing the theme music to "60 minutes" down the hall. It was neither of these things. I first thought it was a stack of paper (had one of my workers left me a bomb) and moved the stack of paper and still heard it. When I moved my tea to the otherside of my desk, it changed. Now it's coming from over there.

Moral is: Don't trust tea as a replacement for coffee. It quite possibly could kill you or simply drive you mad.

The paranoia in your story reminds me of one of the many reasons why I have seperated myself from caffeine; unless, of course, it is mixed with alcohal. But seriously staying away from caffeine has worked out well.

What paranoia? Tea propagandist, are you?

But really. I'm watching it. It's watching me. So far, neither of us has made a move.

we need to take this up in the Federal Court, Coffee v. Tea. I think Shiki should be able to litigate it...he has passed the Phoenix Wright Bar of Law Excellence. I heard he also perfected his smug look as he holds a piece of evidence and yells TAKE THAT!

Tazo Chi w/ triple shot of expresso. That'll do you good for 8hours.

You know after looking at this again, your story sounds fairly similar to one Captain Hook and the alligator. This leads me to believe that you are indeed Captain Hook, or if not Hook you are just flat out crazy. Either way we all win.

rofl. Mike you need some sleep bud. Now if you come back to your desk and the cup has refilled itself... start looking for a new office.

If it's a good brand of coffee: black.

If it's a not-so-good brand: 1 cream 1 sugar.

If (God forbid) coffee isn't available, orange juice.

Tea sucks.
