Windfurytally

So i tried to download the addon Windfurytally from curse but it just came up on my desktop as a .rar file, which im not absolutely sure what it is but i think it needs to be unzipped with a specific program to turn it into a folder that works in addons...

 

so to the question...

 

i was wondering if anyone could either DL it( or may have it DLed) and turn it into a folder and email it to me

I can't download anything at work or they lock my computer and come yell at me.

 

BUT!

 

All you need is a program like WINRAR (google it) to decompress that file. Theres a free trial version on winrar's website, but I don't know of any cracked versions / other programs off the top of my head.

WinRAR won't do you any good, it's "command line only" for OS X.

 

Give me a few to find you a good app.

I can't remember what I use on my Macs...if the one I linked doesn't help I'll check them when I get home.

how... how do you use the internet and not knows what a rar file is...... half of the internet is rared up..... kinda...... not trying to me an ass just confused.

On my PC, what i have spent 90% of my internet time on, i had a program like winrar and never really had to deal with it in this kind of manner

Sorry, I touched my computers at home for all of about 20 minutes last night just to install me replacement RAM from Crucial and get my main gaming box up and running. I totally forgot to wake up my Mac and see what I use on it. Did that app work out for you?

The WoW client on Macs has built-in video capture. That alone is pwnysauce. Of course I do own a license to FRAPS...so whatever.

yeah it worked out perfectly... installed in like 5 seconds, opened it up, drag dropped the file in and hit extract... easy as 1,2,3

When you hit escape there should be a extra mac-only button. It should be in there with the built-in iTunes controls.

I downloaded a .wmv file from fileplanet that is supposed to be a movie but i can't get it to run on quicktime,realplayer, or my divx player... what should i do?

windows media player for mac <_<

 

you can also get vlc or any number of codecs to ply it in other programs
