Ryee 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2008 Kalecgos (for those who never read the books) is/was one of the main servants of Malygos (head of the Blue Dragonflight). His human form is named Kalec, and is a skilled warrior. He was sent to Quel'Thalas some time after Arthas' campaign to the Sunwell, to investigate some rumors about remnants of the Sunwell's power. While on his way, he met Anveena (the personifcation of the remaining Sunwell magic, created by Korialstraz, Alexstrasza's mate). Blah blah, they talked about some stuff and had adventures. Finally, they ended up running into Dar'Khan, another emo, power hungry elf who put an enchanted collar around Kalecgos' neck, keeping him stuck in his human form. During the fight, Dar'Khan captured Anveena. Of course he and some plucky side kicks rescued her. When Kalecgos learned that Anveena was the embodiment of the Sunwell's energy, he remained behind to protect her. Cut forward a few years later, enter Kil'Jaeden (one of the three Draenei Sargeras first encoutered when searching for lieutenants). In an effort to resurrect the well for his own sinister purposes, Kil'Jaeden took Anveena and enslaved Kalecgos (think Vaelastrasz). *DEEP BREATH* So now, he's the first boss in the 25 man instance in Sunwell. The fight seems pretty cool -- I'm glad they kept the fight based on lore. You have to fight Kalecgos in dragon form, then enter portals that spawn during the fight and are aided by Kalec inside this nether realm to defeat the demon Kil'jaeden is using to enslave him.
