one would think when they were developing this place someone would speak up and say... "hey you know a lot of our bosses look exactly the same, maybe we should do something about that"

 

this may be a stupid question, but has vindictive taken down all of mc?

No, we're currently stuck on Ragnaros. Our main problem is that we don't handle the transition to the sons very well. This last time a big portion of that problem was that pippy's macro was telling us the sons would be spawning in 15 seconds when they spawned. It made for an interesting time for the casters. In case you didn't know, the Sons have a stacking aura, much like baron rivendare's, except their's burns mana too. As a result, the raid is usually down to about 10-20 people by the time Ragnaros resurfaces and he proceeds to magma blast everyone one by one (6k dmg shots). It's not pretty, and it is very much like the onyxia phase 2->3 transition before we learned to do it properly.

 

I'm pretty confident we'll have Ragnaros very soon. We consistently got him under 50% before the sons first spawned, which is good, and once we master the transition, he'll be no problem at all. Ragnaros himself doesn't have a whole lot of health, the main problem is that he has a lot of damaging attacks, many of them on the secondary targetting system, and that can wipe a raid if you get lucky. For example I got chain "purged" 3 times. A purge is when he yells "By fire be purged!" and then hurls this fireball at someone, which has a 15 or so yard radius of knockback and corresponding 1500 dmg. Think gar's firesworm exploding. Most people who get hit with it in my part of the map fall into the lava, and proceed to take 6-700 dmg a tick until they can get out. It's not pretty, and you use a LOT of greater fire protection potions.

And don't lie.. the only reason you posted this screen is to shove it in our face that you're with Yuna now... we know the truth.. but yuna <3's Kasis! so don't even try it! =P

i also enjoy yuna's warm glowing warm glow.

google was googling this thread so I felt like bumping it. Mostly cuz I miss Shoop and Felz. and ben's warm glow.
