DETHKLOK CONCERT

The self-proclaimed “most brutal death metal band ever,” DETHKLOK — stars of Adult Swim’s animated “Metalocalypse” television series — will perform a free concert at the Atlanta Center Stage in Atlanta, GA on Thursday, December 13th. This one-night-only performance will feature songs from the band’s first-ever CD release “The Dethalbum.” There are 450 tickets for the show which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be obtained in advance. You must be 18 and over to attend.

That dude on the left in the pics, he's like some 50 year old overweight balding dude that use to play for Frank Zappa. Not exactly what I was expecting. But he was really good.

i kinda wish i went now, i had a feeling it was gonna be an animated concert on a screen. i had no idea it was gonna be an actual band. =(

They played video the entire time too. Some songs just had sort of a remix of scenes from whatever episode the song is from, like Awaken and the Lake Troll. But there were a lot of new animated music videos for some of the songs too. Like Thunderhorse and Murmaider. The Murmaider video was awesome. They also had a storyline going on in clips, basically a new episode, that was shown in between every 2nd or 3rd song. Oh, and there was a presentation from Face Bones. It was pretty kick ass.
