If you have 1000 armor at level 30, and you get hit for 100 damage, will it be the same 100 damage if you have 1000 armor at level 60? (for example)

I don't understand the question 100%

but the answer that I am thinking is no.

for instance at level 30 with 1000 armor if you get hit for 100 damage then most likely you got hit for like 200 and it reduced damage by 100

But at level 60 with 1000 armor if you got hit for 100 damage it most likely hit you for 110 or something because that should also scale with your level I thought.

But then again I wear a robe and my entire object is to not have someone run up and hit me so I am not quoteable on this.

As far as I've seen in lower instances, when I actually get hit, it's for 10-25 damage. That's from SM and below. Even with Blessing of Sanc on ( which can reduce damage take by up to 80) I've never really gotten hit for less than 5 damage, even if the mob was already hitting me for 10 before the blessing, and that's with 16k armor.

Not sure if that helps your thought Krotas.

Armor scales (ratios out) per level and experiences diminishing returns with the more AC you have.

The percent reduction of 1k AC @level 30 does not equal the percent reduction of 1k AV @level 70.

Adding 1k AC to 10k AC @level 70 does not equal the same percent increase that adding 1k AC to 16k @level 70.

Currently with my PvP gear with 1+shield I have roughly 16k AC (no talents) which translates to ~60% reduction. To reach the cap of 75% mitigation you need 31k AC.

EDI: AC mitigation is percent based, not fixed number.
