Oh don't get me wrong, I agree with you 100% The fault lies with the parents for sure. But a game catered towards children WILL attract pederasts to play the game as well. Thats the sad thing, most parents are not responsible. They will see it as another surrogate babysitter that keeps they kids quiet.

No no no, I'm saying that AGP is dead and buried. Your first priority should be getting rid of your AGP mother board and replacing it with a PCIe motherboard. Spend your money there for starters. Check out this motherboard... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813131069 It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, and its using the 939 socket which is last year's technology, but still kicks serious ass. (I have a socket 939 cpu myself.) You can get the motherboard and an Athlon 64 3400+ (again, not top of the line but still really awesome) for a total of $100. If you need RAM, 1GB will run you about $100. you should be able to get 2GB for about $180. Then all you will need is a video card. Like I said, buy a cheap PCIe card now with the intention of upgrading to a DX10 compatible card in the future. I'd try something like this Geforce 7600 GS for $120. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814130073 This machine will never be a screamer, but for a total of about $350 you're looking at a huge upgrade with room for future growth. Whoever the current AGP user is would be happy to make that jump. For your current PCIe user, hold out till the Geforce 8 series comes out with cheaper alternatives then buy 2 Geforce 8 cards for both of you.

Personally I wouldn't purchase anything new right now that ISN'T DirectX10 compatible. In the next year we should see the beginning DX10 gaming and it would be a shame to have to buy a new card again to enjoy it. Rather than upgrade both machines at once, I would reccomend devoting all your funds to upgrading the machine using AGP technology. Try to get it a mobo that supports PCIe and get the cheapest PCIe card for it that you can. Right now, only the expensive DX10 video solutions are on the market. The vendors are doing that to force any early adoptors of DX10 technology to pick up expensive hardware. Very soon you will see The GeForce 8 series release some much more affordable options. Upgrade that AGP! Wait for cheaper GeForce8 cards! Then reap the benefits!

Yeah, I'm running Vista as well. WoW (and most games in general) actually run worse on Vists than they do on XP right now. That should be fixed as soon as the drivers mature a little bit though.

People saw the devices and thought they were bombs! Bomb squads closed down many roads in the area today so they could detonate the devices. Oooops!
