This works for a lot of other guilds and seems to be a good way to go: 4 elites 3 elites 2 elites 1 healer 2 elites 1 healer 2 elites 2 healers (uncontrolled) 2 elites 1 healer 2 elites 1 elite Also, its necessary for one mage to keep detect magic on Domo, so that when he casts his shield, we know and it can be dispeled. The adds shields can also be dispelled, I believe.

by class I find is the best way to organize your layout and I always just keep my party frame open so I can see who is in my group and heal them I ALWAYS keep HoT's on whatever tank I'm healing. I'm a huge believer in HoT's. I've said this a million times, all 3 HoTs means about 225 hit points per second on the tank. It will help him and you keep his health as close to full as possible, and disippate the effects of a crit.

I really hate that these kinds of jokes cant be made effectively using druids, since we can technically do everything.... no wait... that's what I LOVE about my class Gynis, ranged dps ftw! Go go gadget Moonkin!

I already don't heal rogues, hunters, paladins, warlocks, or mages unelss they are in my group and/or are recently bandaged.

Using an innervate early is a key idea that I've been doing for a while when we are short on healers. For example, on a Golemagg fight with OOK I had Saldaar use all his mana first, then I innervated him and let it run while hte other priest healed, had them switch again, and was able to innervate a 2nd time later int he fight. I often use this strategy for Magdamaar as well, I <3 druids and I love HoTs, I think 5 druids, 5-7 priests, and 5-7 pallies is ideal. We all know that dps classes for some reason hate bandaging. Many of them think its a waste of their time. Either that or they don't have bandages and don't ask for them. I use about 10 bandages a run in MC, half of them on myself. Like someone already noted, if I can get away with it, I will use the 8s and bandage myself. If you are a DPS class and you're reading this, understand that we CANNOT stress enough the importance of bandaging. To the handful who do bandage, pat yourselves on the back, you're doing a good thing. If the tank is at 80% and a rogue is at 5%, I'm going to heal the tank. If the tank is at 100% and the rogue is at 5%, you're getting a HoT or a bandage from me, and that's it. I will not waste my mana healing people who do not have the "recently bandaged" debuff if they are not tanks or healers who have mana left. I haven't played a dps class, but I cannot imagine why someone would think their 8s of dps per several minutes that they are losing is more essential to the raid than 800mana from a healer. If no one bandaged, that adds up to a LOT of mana. Another thing to note is that if you find you are completely out of mana, almost dead, recently bandaged, on a potion timer, and cannot get a BoW or an innervate for the life of you, just die, get a res, drink and bandage.

90% of what we do is already from Vindictive or OOK. And if its from OOK, its probably from Vindictive. And if its from Vindictive, its probably from Immortality.

Healing rotations are quite obviously helpful, but for those of you for whom its not obvious, here's why: While you are casting, unless you have talents, you are not regening mana. For 5 seconds after your last cast, you do not regen mana. So if you are constantly casting, you're not regening very much. If everyone is constantly casting, then no one is regening very much and people are qutie possibly overhealing (despite CTRA: it has flaws and lag causes mistakes as well). If, say, half the healers are healing, when they get down to ~70% mana the second half can switch in so the first half is regening. You switch early first so that no one is ever at full mana (ie: everyone is constanly regening). We do this in phase 1 of Onyxia, and we do it on Golemagg (add groups). One problem is that people aren't always willing to wait for us healers to organize ourselves, and since people are constantly coming and going, its hard to have a set manner of doing this. From the sounds of things, you guys had 2 Druids 2 Paladins and 6 or so priests on the domo fight. We should be able to do it without innervate at some point, but for now, having more than 2 would be very nice. Blessing of Wisdom is a MUST. Potions are the difference between win or lose. Spirit is FTW. Also, Mindtap Talisman is not unique and drops in Dire Maul. Having two of them would do Wonders for your mana regen. The 4 mana every 5s bracer enchant is nice too. http://www.thottbot.com/?i=35819

I mean I can't even pass the "patch" part successfully. Less yet launch the test client and try to log into it.
-
A) I've used the test client before I'm not *quite* so stupid as to spend 10 hours on it and not figure that out
-
I tried for 10 hours to get the test client to work yesterday, no luck. Eni they did some maintenance and you may have to recopy your character, if the servers are even up yet.

Hunters own in battlegrounds (at least, they own druids, for now)

Increases the chance that Starfire, Moonfire, and Wrath will crit by 20-100%. I don't think that is correct is it? I think its increase damage done on critical strike by 20-100%. Also, Insect Swarm will have different levels. There will be a druid item (probably from a quest, I guess) that will help scale our damage (my guess is something in the ranged slot). Hurricane is targetable. I suspect there will be a large number of druids respecing after the patch to go full feral or balance, however I do expect a fair number to stay resto, because its still a Great tree, its just not the greatest for pvp AND pve anymore.

That actually would be kinda cool, we could set up some pvp tourneys prime would he be interested in anything like that? plus we can call each other in if we're ever being griefed =P
