Hey folks, I wanted to post this to inform anyone who might get a job with paid breaks. I started a job last night at a company (wont bother mentioning names) working 3rd shift, and will be working atleast 8 hours a day, this company has paid breaks, a 10 minute break every 2 hours, and a 15 minute lunch. I had always thought that it was required for a company to give you atleast 30 minutes for lunch for 8 or more hours of work, but according to the labor board since its a paid break, its a benefit and they dont technically have to give you any break at all . So anyone seeking employment, in my opinion, it is better to get the 30 minutes for lunch that you have to hit the clock for, especially in a job requiring physical labor.
