    first off, hey sketch hows it goin man?!?!

     

    sketch, on a note to you...if you are accepted, do not plan to see a raid for at least 3-5 months...it takes FP that long to cycle through people...that being a large portion of why i quit...not that it is a bad thing smile.gif

     

     

    so where to begin, as youve read from drunc and sketch we know each other etc etc. sketch is one of the most hardcore gamers and badass/not nerdy people at the same time...not a common description of the two...a paradigm indeed. i think he would be an asset to any guild he is a part of. while his personality may not be the best fit at times with what FP stood for in the past (cant speak for present for obvious reasons) i dont think it a legitimate reason to discount him because he says f*ck and sh!t....i think it would be ignorant on the part of whomever consider this app to deny somebody because of their diction/vernacular.

     

    when i think of what it would mean for sketch to join the guild i think of it as if FP were to accept another bentley, valdez, or shoop....he would just be one of those people who, from invitation, would be the most active and do anything in his power to make the guild better than what it was before he got there.

     

     

    in closing i would like to say that i have strongly supported 1 app in my day (before this) and that was drunknduncan....and look what he has done for the guild/how he has turned out.

     

    i say this last part with utmost respect for the FP family....but if this app is denied the guild deserves to disband. i know my words carry minimal weight these days, but as an old friend (of FP) i advise you to accept him.

    wow, the name among names retires.....drunknduncan informed me this weekend that the man the myth the legend is mailing it in....im speechless....without speech.

     

    gryph, good luck man ill always remember you from the first time you pseudo recruited me, knowing (prolly through akira) that i wanted in the guild, back in the good ol days of trying to conquer MC....you asked me to join an FP AB...from then it only went up....i know we were never the closest in the guild, but damn, you were a good one...hate to see ya go.

     

    also, hello to everyone who does/did know me...hope its all goin great...ive started from scratch, deleted everything....look me up sometime "cappadonna" on this server smile.gif

    Ill keep this short and sweet

     

    I think its time for me to move on….after I stepped down from active raiding the guild flew past me and grew into something I do not like. This place is no longer my home. I now feel as if I am treated as a recruit, not somebody who was helping in the first rag kill and clearing of bwl. I hold no bad feelings towards the guild and will always think highly of it and most of its members. I will miss many of you and have already created my /wave macro for when our paths cross. I <3 most of you, prophets…only a few bother me. I just feel times are a changin’ and with that, its time for me to leave. I wish you all the best of luck and will see you all around

    Starting next saturday (7/29/06) i will be moving to cinci to start a job on monday. you will un doubtedly notice a drop in play time. hopefully it is only a drop and i wont have to pull a dag. good luck in everything i wont be able to be around for, but i should still be able to raid. RL is gonna suck

    last night was the worst time ive ever had on a raid with FP in 9.5 months with the guild. i was embarrased. as for the priest who wouldnt heal that bentley speaks of (whomever it is) do yourself, and the rest of us a favor and /gquit bc a combination of people like you are the reason last night was the way it was.

    though we are full as all get out on every class i still think humungo would be a good pickup. def. fits into the FP scheme. hes got a great sense of humor and probably the most mature 15....well 16 now....year old ive ever talked to in my life.

     

    leveled with him from about 50-60 way back in the day and think he is worth second consideration.

    but it isn't entirely accurate. As before, I'm leaving my app open should a spot open up and I'm still guildless.

     

    dont me to burn ya but...

     

    traditionally its the guild's prerogative to leave an app open, not the player's

     

     

     

    long story short ill mention something that nobody ever does in the app forum

     

    we cant even accomodate our own members to raid. id say that half to more than half of our guild does not have raiding status/priority
