here's my Atramedes video, unfortunitly i suck at dodging the sound waves (on that attempt), but apperently they nerfed them to not do any damamge or cause any sound /whew

its actually 2 encounters cut together at about the same point, i don't remember why its like that i might have gotten raw video files mixed up, but it doesn't really matter all that much.

heres another little video i made testing out some cuts with my video software, it kinda shows how bad fury warrior threat is right now, i think i'm doing over double tps then tanks with vengence stacked, i'll post the full chimaron fight soon, but i have to stop dpsing like 3 or 4 times during the encounter (which isn't as fun as y'know, playing the game the entire encounter... /rant)

music? oh just searching youtube for guitar nerd music, i find a player i like then look up their solo stuff.

or arranged or remixed video game music, or anime soundtracks.

i try and stay away from pop metal, cheesy techno, horrible hip-hop or that one song from the matrix thats in every other video game video on youtube.

oh and i like instrumental stuff, no lyrics unless they are useing their vocals as an instrument instead of whining about their relationships like all the kids do these days. i remember when lyrics to music had a story or narative /rant

the sites a little hard to navigate untill you go through it a little bit then it all makes sense, you can view overall dps, dps just to the boss, dps just to the adds, trash, threat, healing, damage taken, interupts, well everything basically.

my favorite thing about these log websites is you can go back a few months and see how far your progressed.

the site also has ranking percentages comparing you with your spec with others in logs on the site, Stang and Koban got upto 90% the top heals/dps in the database, pretty awsome.

Count me in if there's a spot, i'm interested in what kind of group we can get together, i'll be good for anytime except sunday early afternoon when i do my TotC 10 man or whatever its called.

hmm more like spot on then skewed. That was a very good post. Yes mage's are the key to bursting down the fight.

But we need to set you guys up to succeed and the stratigies you mention sound like the plan.

I just hope we can get the raid group composition to do that. It seems though still alot of people need more practice moving to not get the biting cold debuff, more practice dodging the icicles, more practice staying out of the falling snowdrift, and more practice standing on the snow drift to avoid flash freeze. From a melee'ers perspective all of those hazards are stupidly easy to avoid, and a pain in the ass for casters, esspecially grouped up you'll get more icicles. I do think we'll get the dance down, we always do eventually, but in this case we weren't on the right track as far as casters go. If you guys can get 9k dps (or more) with a good setup like you mention, then melee should handle the npc's (again like you mention). If the raid consistantly stops taking avoidable damage, you'll have your heals for frozen blows.

even compressed the files are large. I'd say we could just try the quickest fight, maybe thats razor scale, but with such a collaberated effort...might as well make it the most interesting fight. i don't know, oh xt deconstructor hard mode might be fun, potential void bombs on anybody, and dps running about killing light thingies, all while we dps boss down before enrage. plus its a hard mode which kinda makes it "worth" recording.

we'll see, talking is getting me more interested, but again it costs you money, and if it would be you sending me footage, well i can't promise good editing or anything like that, i mean i've just been pushing record and matching it with music i like.

I don't know about doing any editing projects, I'm a complete novice at that sort of thing and don't want to learn the software/get good at editing. I just thought this fight was fun and figured it would make a cool video.

I recorded a few other boss fights, but some were kinda boring from just my perspective hehe.

actually i just looked i have all the bosses but General, Mimeron and Flame Leviathan(who cares), and of coarse last week we had plagueyou tanking so it wasn't from my typical role perspective.

That being said, i could supply you with my footage from a fight if you wanted to make a video that cuts between the points of view, i don't mind at all matching your resolution, record settings and frame rate for a boss fight to make POV cuts seamless. or sending you pre encoded source video at your specifications.

as far as last weeks recordings, the sources have all been deleted, i think a 10 minute fight was about 24gigs uncompressed iirc, so all you'd have to work with on my end is compressed/resized to 720p

I don't know your system specs, but with Newest version of fraps, any core2 cpu and at least 8800gts+ or equal ATI should be good enough, the only bottleneck would be the Hard drive thrashing from fragmentation i would think. when you start recording in fraps it limits your in game frame rate with the frame rate you chose to record the video at (which kinda makes it harder to play) what specifically happens when you try and record something now?

I'm assuming we're all using fraps here.

I was messing around with video recording a little bit, and thought it turned out pretty neat with me not having to do anything to it editing wise.

I hope to post more, maybe 1 of each boss, esspecially yogg its a really cool fight for me, going into the portals and all.

as for naxx we never have a full raid before we start so if you can fill up spots then thats awsome.
