The last 3 PCs I've bought, I've bought directly from Dell. I have no complaints about any of the machines, and Dell replaced the display on my wife's laptop like a week after the warranty expired w/o any problem. My XPS desktop is finally dying after 3+ years, but I bet if I just got more RAM, it'd be back in business. The Inspiron 1720 I currently spend all my time on runs beautifully. /recommend

I didn't know there was all that "work" involved. I'll keep looking, but I haven't done that "long and tedious quest chain". I did just start grinding Oracle rep so I can get that egg every week.
