  1. Grats on the kill everyone! Who's that sexy female dwarf priest in the middle of the pic? /fondle
  2. Hey all, Sorry to hijack your forum like this But I'm looking for any and all former players from <Crown> who have migrated over to FP. Volcar and I are just looking to keep in touch even though several of us have quit the game (some short-term, others likely for good). We've set up a freebie website and would like to get the word out to them. The ones who come to mind are Xiaolin, Arahmis, Shean, Reneesmae, but I know there are more and I'm just drawing a blank right now. Since my wow time ran out a while back I can't get in touch with them in-game, but if any of you could pass the word along to them to send me a PM on this site so I can hook them up with the URL that would be fabulous! Hope everything is well with you all! Durka
  3. "Open to US residents only" Canadians get screwed again!
  4. What mods are you using to build this UI? I like how uncluttered it is, and I'm growing increasingly frustrated with mine, especially the X-perl part.
  5. Someone on our server already has this: zzmorris (horde). He used the SC forums to enlist the help of other rogues, who COD'd him lockboxes for 5g each. He found many people willing to help at that price and I'm pretty sure it took him less than a week. He also used the SC forums and general chat to get Darkmoon Faire cards - to me it seems like this rep would be the worst of them all unless you are stinkin' rich. The Bloodsail/Steamwheedle reps would be a huge pain in the ass. If you plan on going for Loremaster, as I did, then you have almost no choice but to do that BEFORE going for "The Insane". The reason is that there are many quests along the way that you'll have to do that lower Bloodsail rep, and unless you've built up a huge buffer of Bloodsail rep in advance then you may be in trouble. After grinding Bloodsail you are going to be hated with all of the goblin cities. Someone on Wowhead did a comparison of the fastest ways to grind Goblins and came to the conclusion that killing pirates near Ratchet and Gadgetzan would get you 4.5k with that specific goblin city and half that much in "spillover" rep with the rest of them. He killed over 800 goblins an hour for that much. So if you start out at 1/36000 hated with each, you're looking at (36000+3000+3000+3000+6000+12000+21000)/4500 = about 19 hours of straight-up grinding. I thought about going for this title but then I came to my senses!
  6. Awww, you forgot me already! (Cue Nat King Cole.... un...for....gettable....) I PM'd you a while back about your loot system. Among other things, I'm a feral druid, a Canadian, a co-GM of Crown and a closet forum troll! Always had much love for FP, because you seem to put your friendships and in-game family before progression and loot. So on that point our guilds have something in common! Apparently we have the same blood donation discrimination in Canada. From a recent CBC article:
  7. What's up FPers! I would donate blood buuuutttt.... apparently I might have mad cow disease. The last time that I checked (a few years ago now), if you lived in the UK between 1998-2000 you are not allowed to give blood because of the possibility of mad cow lurking in your bloodstream from the tainted beef scandal. Homos and mad cows unite? Mooooooooo..................
