I do. I live indeed, though not in the World of Warcraft anymore...

...at this point I think the only thing that could bring me back would be a time machine to Vanilla as long as it restored FP as it was in Vanilla.

I'm a little late but I read it. The real question is, will anyone care?

So, I got bored the other day and started browsing the forums, thinking back to the good ol' days when we'd sit in MC and wipe on trash. I figured that I should pop on here and give those who care an update on the current status of TehDez.

I'm now a Senior at Michigan State University, still studying Criminal Justice with a specialization in Security Management. I'll be graduating in May, at which time I will begin the frantic search for a job (should be fun in Michigan). I've got 18 credits right now (10 credit internship, 8 credits from actual classes) so I'm a bit busy, it's easy to say I'm looking forward to graduation.

To tie in with the degree and specialization, I'm now an intern! I'm working 30 hours a week at Emergent BioSolutions. They're currently the only company that has a contract with the US Government to manufacture the Anthrax Vaccine. They do a bunch of other crazy biomedical stuff that I don't quite understand, but it's a pretty cool place. I'm an intern in the Protective Services division, so I hang out with the security officers (Not like rent-a-cop stuff, like officers who carry glocks and AR-15's and walk around) when they patrol the campus, monitor the security console/cameras, work with the bomb-sniffing dogs at the gate to campus, stuff like that. I'm getting some great experience there and will definitely be looking towards putting in an application when the internship is finished in December.

I'm also still working as a Parking Enforcement Supervisor at Michigan State, I get joy from ruining other people's days. My hobbies at that job include towing vehicles that are habitual (6 or more unpaid citations) or nailing the bastards that illegally use Handicap Placards (it's so much fun). Since I'm employed by the police department on campus I'll have some awesome references and it should also look quite good on the resume.

The girlfriend and I are still doing amazing, she's spent 2 years and 6 months putting up with me IRL, no easy task whatsoever. We're looking at getting a place together after graduation, she's going to be finished in May as well. She's graduating with a degree in Advertising, specializing in both the creative and management aspects of the degree. Hopefully she'll get rich and be my sugar momma, then I won't have to work.

I miss ya'll, as much as I want to come back to the game I just know it won't be the same. The few half-hearted attempts I have made to return just lead to disappointment, I'll never have as much fun with the game as I did pre-BC with the old crew. I hope everyone is doing fantastic with their lives, both in game and IRL. Keep in touch with me if you'd like, I pop on here now and then to silently observe what's going on. You can find me on Facebook, probably easiest to search me by e-mail (ritterj4@msu.edu).

Below is a picture of me dancing to Thriller at a recent wedding. I still maintain my awesome singing skills, I've incorporated dance into the mix as you can see.

Alright. I've written enough of a novel so far.

Until next time.

I think it's about time he actually shows up for a damn party!

I'll try for FP Winter this year, I've got such an insane summer it's not even funny. Working 40 hrs/week while taking 18 credits and having to go to some family function every weekend sucks ass.

I'm sad that I can't screw up the forums like I used to. Whoever fixed that is a killjoy. I'm still at MSU, got one year left for my B.A. in Criminal Justice with a specialization in security management. SB ILU and miss you. Ghost, that comment was not appreciated. But yeah it's almost that time.

So, I'm going to assume that with the slew of you folk out there one or two of you has some experience designing a website with Flash. If so, please let me know. My girlfriend's got an assignment due in a few days dealing with Flash and she's using CS4 (vs CS3 in the class). On top of that there's no real instruction on this part of the assignment, it's just kind of "Go make something". She needs to use 4 pages, Home, Info, Gallery, Contact. She's got the Home page done but can't make the buttons link to other stuff like they're supposed to. So, if you have any experience and have any idea how to solve this problem (or have a website to point me to) please let me know. Also, how can I import or place a PDF (Her Resume under Contacts) pop up? Is there an easy way to do that?

Let me know. Thanks guys.

I actually was going to put you in there somewhere Dez, but I thought that'd give it away way too easy. It's like Matt said, he knew it was april fools but it still made him doubt for a second icon_biggrin.gif

I feel like I brought a lot more than repair bills to the raid. I feel like I brought an extended and infinite amount of entertainment (also known as stress) for all involved.

You know you miss me.

LOL @ Chris. I think the thing about that night was that Dez did the same thing right before you didn't he? I was like "WTF is wrong with these Pallies???"

Me? Wipe a raid? Never happened.

ZOMGTHANKYOUEVERYONE!!!1111oneoneone

I'll post some pics when I take them off Kelly's camera. It started off as a small gathering at her place and then turned into a small party sort of thing. A few people puked, a few people got stoned, I went through a fifth of SoCo and some beer, it was a grand night. Now I'm driving up north to visit Scrapes, hurray for 7 hour car rides hungover!

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes everyone! Miss you bunches and I might be back to play for a bit soon!

Wasn't I just making fun of you for still not having this the other day when I made my 2 day return from retirement?

Grats man. You deserve it.

I haven't been trolling properly for the past... I dunno... 6 months. So, this might be old news. But...
