  1. Do it up KP, I'm currently on Insanity week 3, Keep at it man, it really does work. Make sure you get the eating habits early, they help a TONNNNNNNNNNN Good luck!
  2. Mmhm, I saw this a few days ago... Very sad shaman here... Looked at my previous completed artifacts and I have 4 wards of empress zoe... aka 4k gold No telling how much else I would have made if I had saved ALL the artifacts I've made so far, especially since I'm only 2 rares away from the professor title >.<
  3. I actually saw this yesterday at the Razer booth here at CES. You guys may want to look at the actual size of it, its quite small. Like, below netbook small. It really looked like a gameboy DS with an extra keyboard added in my opinion. I like the concept idea of it, but I just don't see it being very popular what with how much it reminds me of a gameboy
  4. If you really want to "get into" web development, id recommend looking at php and learning basic html. Can't go wrong with that
  5. Who is that naga guy? What a weirdo.
  6. Nice sutter. Where do you think I got the narwhals stuff that I used to spam all the time? Same guy as the horse

    Wow just wow!!!!!

    I agree with this completely. My parents raised me on fast food and junk food. Heck, I used to drink a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper before lunch time at school, and i do have to blame my parents for most of it since that was all I was served at lunch / dinner during home meals. Also whenever we went out to dinner it would be the same thing. They also consistently had me taking medication for ADHD, that my doctor had diagnosed me with, but as with the sugar addiction above, 'hyper-ness' comes from that really easily. I myself eat out quite often, and so the calories in > calories burned => weight gain part is completely true. Most kids who are obese (and not for genetic reasons, that happens, I get it) are not just that way because their parents don't properly feed them, but it is also a LARGE part due to what the kid does during their spare time. My parents never took me out to the park, or tried to get me involved in any sports, whereas other people I know can't imagine an indoor life like mine. Just think of the growing gaming market. What were you doing when you were in 4th grade? I know I was playing pokemon. I played it during class in free time, I played it on the playground during lunch, and when I wasn't playing pokemon, I'd be playing the card game or another card game. And just look at what we have now. If you get your kid addicted to WoW as much as some of us are (I know I am), there is no way he/she is going to be going outside for a sport anytime soon. Everyone here can say that unhealthy eating leads to a poor lifestyle, and yes it can, but it doesn't always have to. No kid is actually force-fed fast food everday, I've never met a family in my life who didn't take at least some care to make sure their kid got the proper nutrients. In my opinion it is the fact that parents in the electronic age are becoming lazier and lazier and not being outgoing with their kids. That's just my opinion on it all. I don't blame food industries or improper diets. I blame lack of exercise and other fat burning mechanics. Having a generally active lifestyle => having a generally healthier kid.

    @Ect

    Nice. I liked it. The microsoft ones are all true too
  11. Im currently studying comp sci as well at my school. I've also done a couple internships and am looking to work in the gaming industry upon graduation (yeah tough luck). I may just end up working with the IT for this bank, since they pay super well and have great benefits (21$ / hour with time and a half for OT JUST FOR AN INTERSHIP!) As far as programming goes, you really just have to find a language that suits your development needs (I.E python is a very good entry level gaming language), and then just play with the language and make your own fun items. I've programmed in C, C++, C#, Java, MySQL, PHP, COBOL, Pawn, and a lot of the electrical engineering languages like matlab, verilog, etc. One of the most useful languages I've used by far is PHP, but I do find that most network mainframes and big companies are using Java as the backbone of their coding. Java is an OOP just like C++ and yeah, its pretty simple to look up. Basically, yeah, just find what your interested in. If you want some programming languages that link together real well with common things, give me a holler, I can tell you some. I really want to get into the world of game development, but I already know I'm going to need at least a couple more years at a technical school once I graduate with my bachelors degree. Most companies won't take on programmers unless they have 10+ years of experience for project teams, or somewhere in the range of 3-4 years of engine design / graphics, so sucks for me haha.
